The Union of Architectural Workers launched its website on 31 May 2026. It is the home for our campaigns, our organising, and the practical help we offer members.
On it you can join the union, read what the Architects Award 2020 actually entitles you to, follow our campaign to lift base pay rates in the current award review, and find out how to organise your own workplace. The national salary survey is there too, so you can see how your pay compares and add your own figures to the evidence.
We relaunched as the Union of Architectural Workers in 2025 to be a campaigning union, not just a service. We are the only registered union in Australia for architectural workers, and this site is where that work now lives. It will keep growing, with more fact sheets, campaign updates, and events over the coming months.
Start here: join the union, organise your workplace, or take the salary survey (currently unavailable).
